Staff helpful, clean apartment, central location, bigger room than expected, convenient for one-night stay.
Nothing, everything was great.

There was no much to like. I never looked at any reviews when I booked it because it was an emergency booking but I looked at the pictures and it looked really nice. Sort of like the resorts in the gold coast but when I got there what a dump.
I did not like staying there, on arrival there was a big party in the premises and it was unsightly, drunks everywhere. They partied until 3 in the morning and we had QLD track and field the next day and we were tired. The beds had bed bugs in it. Their was no toilet paper or shampoo and conditioner. 4 of us booked in and there was only enough towels for 3 of us. Their was no coffee or tea but a kitchenette. The pool was dirty and the microwave did not work.

It was central for out daily routines and close to where we needed to be. Close to shops, eplanade lagoon, night markets & restaurants. The staff were friendly and helpful and provided us with maps and brochures. ;)
Noisy backpackers at 12:40am, but when the staff knew they shut they down, apologised to me and it didn't happen again. :). No private car parking. I had to leave my hire car on the street which was a bit of a worry. Would have felt better knowing it was locked up but it was ok.

I was pleasantly surprised by this hotel. the prices were fantastic, an absolute steal considering the location really close to the city centre. The rooms were basic but had all the amenities I needed, including air conditioning facilities. The staff were friendly and always willing to help, giving me advice on nearby attractions. this hotel offered great value for money.
All was satisfactory during my stay.

Very friendly and helpful staff. Very good location and good price.
We stayed in a self-contained apartment (one double and one single bed) which was more than adequate. A little dark, but then we spent most of the time outdoors. Further improvements could be made by adding lights to the stairwells and dusting the room a bit better.

We didn't get the rooms we booked and paid for. We booked two of the two bedroom apartments with ensuite, bath and cable tv and sofa in lounge and got none of what we wanted in either of the two apartments. It was very noisy with loud drinking and partying and no one to ask them to be quiet. Did not suit families at ll, it was a backpackers accommodation but not advertised as such.

This hotel offers fantastic value for money. During our 7-day stay, we were pleasantly surprised by the affordable prices and excellent services provided. The location of the hotel is also a major plus point, as it is close to everything, especially the vibrant restaurant area. We found the basic amenities to be satisfactory, and the rooms on level 2 were equipped with air conditioning facilities, ensuring a comfortable stay. Additionally, the staff were friendly and attentive, making us feel welcomed. The hotel also offers breakfast options for those who prefer to start their day with a meal.
All aspects of our stay at this hotel were satisfactory.

Location and price
Overall standard at the level of an old 'backpackers'... Pool water cloudy, dirty (wouldn't let your kids in it), algae not been cleaned off paving for a long time (safety hazard, and looks terrible), very limited parking, fans too old and noisy to leave on at night, exhaust cover in bathroom missing and too noisy to run (hence couldn't turn the lights on in bathroom), upholstery torn with broken zips, airconditioner only just working and old, noisy. Charity shop collection of cutlery and crockery and not enough for the number of beds, nothing to do dishes with (had to go and buy brush, sponge). But hey, the place is cheap. Backpackers probably don't mind at all.

It was very dirty. Bedding was old and stained. There was no equipment for doing the dishes, not tea or coffee milk etc. Old furniture, old food under the cushions on the couch. Bits of cutlery, some dirty. Paint peeling, plaster in holes in both the doors. Generally an unpleasant experience.

We stayed in this hotel during Christmas break. The location was great, near the beach, and the shops were conveniently located nearby. We also enjoyed the free parking and breakfast offered by the hotel, which was a great money-saving advantage. The staff was friendly and check-in was quick and easy.
The bathroom had not been cleaned properly and there was hair left in the shower. The bed was uncomfortable and the pillows were too flat to sleep on.

Handy for the boardwalk, shops and eating places. The young man who served us was very helpful. Safety with the use of keys to get in after hours and having our car locked inthe carpark.
THe room smelt musty and damp. Needs to be repainted and spruced up.

The towels and bed linens were clean and free from stains. The room I stayed in had functioning air-conditioning and no issues with bugs. The kitchen facilities were in good working order and I didn't experience any problems with stolen food. I had a pleasant stay at Koala Beach Resort.

The room itself was reasonably clean and spacious.
The shared kitchen was ill-equipped and dirty. The stairways were not regularly cleaned and were grimy.
